Lincoln Middle School's Steam Lab, located in Berwyn North School District 98, offers students grades 6-8th an educational experience with its three educational zones that support the core curriculum: Digital Research, Collaboration, and Presentation Zone. Students can easily flow between each area as they develop their projects, perform experiments, solve problems, and finally summarize their findings as they present to their peers.
The space is fully transparent with interior window walls allowing visibility and light to travel between spaces. The lighting layout provides a unique visual as you peer in from the adjacent library space, allowing the room to glow and stand out, drawing students in. With access to resources such as overhead power, 3D printers, green screens, and monitors, students can thrive as they explore a variety of activities.
