Megan Zack is an industry champion for sustainable design and minimizing the environmental impact of the built environment. With a proven track record that includes the first LEED Gold high-rise apartment building in Chicago, Megan strives to demystify the sustainability process and help clients realize their goals. As our Chief Sustainability Officer, Megan will work across all disciplines to further reduce our impact on the environment while continuing to serve our communities through beautiful, sustainable design.
For Megan, studying architecture was an opportunity to combine her passions for math, science, and art. Over the course of her career, she has worked on a broad range of projects and with a variety of clients to design single-family homes, multi-family residential buildings, and challenging mixed-use complexes. Through her work on the Parc Huron project, the first LEED Gold-certified apartment building in Chicago, Megan crystalized a purpose for her practice and forged a path that focused on sustainability. She is highly regarded by clients, colleagues, and peers for her ability to make sustainable design practices achievable and affordable without compromising design excellence.
Megan has a Master of Architecture degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago. She is a Registered Architect in Illinois with multiple industry certifications, including LEED AP BD+C and WELL AP.
